Starting on May 4th and ending on May 18th, Apocalypse is an event that is available to Rainbow Six Siege players on all platforms, and it will certainly shake things up. With the recent bugfix update to Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft also launched the game’s latest event: Apocalypse.
For example, the most recent test server update reactivated Scoreboard 2.0 and fixed the bug where Maestro could still use his Evil Eye after he was eliminated. While there hasn’t been a Rainbow Six Siege update since the introduction of Operation North Star, looking at the test server can give us some hints as to what’s coming up.
For example, the silent vaulting issue has been fixed, so you’ll once again be able to hear enemies approaching over obstacles, and the mouse functionality bug has also been fixed. Rainbow Six Siege’s Y6S2.1 update has mostly concentrated on bug fixes to make the game more bearable and less annoying. For example, you can no longer vault through barriers after knifing them only once, and you can also no longer accidentally crash other players’ games when you cancel an item use action. The most recent update for Rainbow Six Siege was released a couple of weeks ago and it mostly featured bug fixes.
There will also be balancing changes to IQ, Fuze, Mute, and Twitch, and it introduces a new attacker from Croatia, Osa, who comes equipped with a transparent shield as her gadget. Some of these fixes include a new scoreboard that presents info more dynamically and also new performance metrics for players that are on PC.Ĭrystal Guard is coming to Rainbow Six Siege in a few days and it promises to bring with it some changes to how operator armor works. The Y6S3.2 update for Rainbow Six Siege may not be the most exciting one but it comes with a range of improvements to the game that fans have been asking for repeatedly.
